Facebook has launched an ‘App Center,’ a tool that makes it easier to find social apps such as Draw Something, Pinterest, and Nike+ GPS. The App Center is available on the web as well as on iOS and Android devices. You can easily send apps that you find on your computer to your mobile device using the “Send to Mobile” feature.
Matt Wyndowe, Product Management at Facebook explains “The App Center gives you personalized recommendations, and lets you browse the apps your friends use. It only lists high-quality apps, based on feedback from people who use the app.”
The App Center started rolling out to Facebook users in the U.S. with more than 600 apps, and will be available globally in the coming weeks.
