Foursquare and American Express Team Up!

The social marketing tool that adds another dimension to social media by connecting digital users in the offline world through venue “check-ins” has rolled out a new deal with American Express!

Foursquare and AmEx have teamed up to offer cardholders who link their cards to their foursquare profiles the ability to discover and redeem  AmEx “Specials” offered at exclusive Foursquare venues. When users see a “Special” on foursquare and want to use it, they simply “check-in” to that particular venue and “load” the “Special” to their card. This seamless integration eliminates the need for coupons or special codes – if a $5.00 purchase saves you $5.00, this “Special” automatically “loads” on to your AmEx card.
